AUM is pleased to announce that Dr. Jeremy Brown has arrived in Malta and has hit the ground running, picking up the baton as Provost from his predecessor, Dr. John Ryder.

Dr. Brown received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Birmingham. He later served on the faculty and subsequently as Associate Dean of Faculty at Princeton University and Associate Dean of the Graduate School at Yale University. Dr. Brown has also worked at Oxford University in England and held visiting positions at the University of Manitoba in Canada and the National Accelerator Centre in South Africa. In his administrative work, Dr. Brown has held positions as Provost, President, and Rector at several universities, and is the author of over 100 publications in nuclear physics, his academic area of expertise.

Dr. Brown, who told AUM that he relishes the challenges that AUM faces and is confident of its future success, comes to us from New York, where he was most recently based. His predecessor, Dr. John Ryder, who has been with AUM since its inception, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees.
