At AUM, our undergraduate degree programs are based on a liberal arts style curriculum designed to immerse students in an environment of free inquiry. We offer a bold and diverse curriculum focused on intellectual inquiry and hands on learning. The goal? Well-rounded, critical thinkers and engaged citizen of the world.
All undergraduate degree programs at the American University of Malta are comprised of two parts:
Why a General Education Program? We want AUM students and graduates to shine, both professionally and personally. We believe our General Education Program offers them the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in our global and complex world.
AUM students will take a total of 41-42 US (82-84 ETCS) credits in GEP—comprising approximately a third of their total course work in their chosen undergraduate degree program of study. Thematic areas include: Communications in a Global Society, Data and Quantitative Literacy, Scientific Inquiry, Tradition and Innovation in Arts and Humanities, and Understand Our Past and Present through Social Sciences.

AUM currently offers three (3) Bachelor's degree programs and one (1) Master's degree program:
